About this project
We will be hosting a community volunteer event at Leopold's Preserve. Our volunteer activities are suitable for ages 13 and up, but volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We will be working to put a layer of mulch on eroded areas of our trail system. If you have one, please bring a metal rake or pitchfork to help spread the mulch. Please also "dress for a mess" with long pants and closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Be prepared for outdoor conditions including seasonal weather, thorns, poison ivy, and ticks. Please bring your own bottle of water to drink.
