Colors of Restoration: A Community Empowerment Painting Session & Giveaway Drive

In partnership with 9/11 Day, Brunch with the Word is bringing restoration and renewal to Brooklyn. This event is centered on empowerment and giving back. Attendees will paint as an act of personal restoration — a way of processing past pain and renewing the mind. That same creative output, alongside a parallel care package effort, becomes our gift back to the community. We’ll talk identity, mindset renewal, and emotional wellness, because rebuilding starts from within. Then we’ll put it into action: a community giveaway drive delivering paintings, care packages, and groceries to families and elders right here in our neighborhood. In the spirit of 9/11’s national day of service, we’re turning creativity into community care.
